📋 Description

• Lead a broad portfolio of critical enterprise applications supporting Imaging and Enterprise Content Management teams • Oversee multiple application development teams of 20+ associates • Drive modernization, transformation, and organizational change initiatives across the organization • Advance Agile and SAFe practices • Partner with business and technology leaders to shape the future of application platforms • Develop high-performing teams and foster innovation • Monitor and maintain adherence and compliance to quality standards • Oversee application programming and analysis projects, including development, installation, and maintenance of application programs • Maximize staff contribution through professional growth and development • Analyze applications to ensure developed systems meet business needs and specifications • Manage vendor discussions involving contracts, price negotiation, and budgeting

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience leading application development or application support teams • Strong people leadership skills and experience managing large, cross-functional teams • Experience leading modernization, transformation, and organizational change initiatives • Knowledge of Agile and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies • Experience partnering with technical and business stakeholders to deliver strategic outcomes • Bachelor's Degree in a Computer Sciences related field or equivalent work experience • 8 years of extensive systems analysis, design and project management experience required • 3 years of management and/or leadership experience required • Prior health insurance industry experience preferred • Exposure to AI-enabled solutions and emerging technologies preferred • Familiarity with .NET and/or Java preferred • Understanding of COBOL and AIX preferred • Proven technical background with relational database and data warehousing technologies • Ability to design and develop using service-oriented architecture and object-oriented architecture design patterns • Proven skill with information technology in use at BCBST • Ability to conceive and deliver innovative solutions • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to perform non-routine analytical tasks • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills • Ability to establish and maintain customer trust and confidence • Effective communication with technical and non-technical co-workers • Strategic thinking and relationship management abilities • Ability to work with vendors, including contract discussions, price negotiation, and budgeting • Must support core Eastern Time business hours (8am–5pm ET) • Sponsorship is not available at this time
