📋 Description

• Formulate and define system scope and objectives through research • Design, develop, modify, or integrate moderately complex information systems • Devise or modify application systems and procedures to optimize capacity, operating time, response time, and desired results • Design, code, test, debug, and document programs, subroutines, and scripts • Maintain technical skills in software languages, databases, platforms, and operating systems • Respond to system failures and performance events to reduce downtime and prevent recurrence • Support infrastructure powering the enterprise Robotic Process Automation platform • Work with Windows and Linux servers, Active Directory, security patching, firewall troubleshooting, and infrastructure administration • Provide services to multiple project teams or management staff • Guide less-experienced programmers and present information to end users • Serve in project team roles such as project lead, business systems analyst, or technical lead for small to medium efforts • Participate in an on-call support schedule

🎯 Requirements

• Experience with Windows- and Linux-based server administration • Strong experience with Active Directory, password safes, PowerShell, and Bash scripting • Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure • Experience with security patching and vulnerability remediation • Experience with firewall administration • Experience with DNS, TCP/IP, encryption, SSL/TLS certificates, and related infrastructure components • Experience supporting virtualized infrastructure, including VMware • Experience with cloud environments, including Azure and AWS • Strong communication and troubleshooting skills • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience required • 2 years of programming experience required • 1 year of experience with information technology concepts, application development methodology, terminology, and standards required • 1 year of expert working knowledge of at least one programming language in use at BCBST • Proven skill with information technology in use at BCBST required • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Preferred: experience with UiPath RPA development and UiPath Cloud Components • Preferred: familiarity with Agile and Azure DevOps • Must participate in an on-call support schedule • Sponsorship is not available for this role
