📋 Description

• Gain expertise and become the subject matter expert for Flow Cytometry instruments, including Clinical Cell Analyzer and Research Cell Analyzers • Provide field-based and remote technical support to customers and colleagues • Carry out preventative maintenance, installation, relocation, repairs, and corrective field change orders on Flow Cytometry instrumentation • Diagnose electrical, fluidic, mechanical, hardware, software, and laser failures using established procedures and techniques • Determine cost-effective repairs or solutions to minimize downtime • Perform instrument certifications (IQ/OQ) • Manage car stock and ensure necessary spare parts and tools are available • Manage technical escalations • Work toward service metrics defined by the Service Organization • Travel to and from customer sites each day

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or extensive relevant experience as a Field Service Engineer • Full US driving license • Currently living within a daily commutable distance of Downtown Atlanta Georgia • IT knowledge • Flow Cytometry experience is a plus • Experience working in the Telecoms, Robotics, Automation, and Medical Devices industries • Ability to process knowledge across multi-modular and diverse product ranges • Ability to deliver high levels of customer service • Ability to lift 50 lbs • Ability to work in a standing position for a prolonged period of time • Evening work as job duties demand • Full-time availability
