📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native for iOS and Android • Build and maintain Rails API endpoints, request/response contracts, background jobs, and data models • Collaborate with product, design, and backend engineers to translate designs and wireframes into reusable full-stack code • Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party SDKs • Optimize app performance, responsiveness, and stability • Write unit and integration tests and shape the mobile testing strategy • Debug and resolve platform-specific issues, including native modules and bridging • Manage App Store and Google Play submissions and release processes • Provide technical leadership on mobile architecture decisions • Set and evolve coding standards and mobile best practices • Conduct code reviews and mentor engineers on technical and career development • Research and recommend tools and technologies to improve team output

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of experience writing production code, including 3+ years building and shipping mobile applications • Strong proficiency in React / React Native and JavaScript/TypeScript • Demonstrated fluency with Ruby on Rails in production, building and maintaining API-only Rails services • Familiarity with React Query and Context API • Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and mobile release workflows • Understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and platform guidelines, including Apple HIG and Material Design • Experience with REST APIs and async data handling • Experience with native iOS (Swift/Objective-C) or Android (Kotlin/Java) is a plus, but not required • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience
