The company’s pipeline also includes programs addressing metabolic and liver diseases (e. g. , non-alcoholic fatty liver disease and type 2 diabetes).

📋 Description

• Lead the annual budgeting process in collaboration with department heads • Monitor financial performance through monthly financial results analysis • Initiate corrective actions and minimize budget variances • Serve as the primary finance business partner for certain business groups • Address financial and accounting matters and financial statement inquiries • Recommend enhancements to financial planning and analysis processes • Conduct ongoing forecasting to anticipate financial trends and challenges • Work with business groups to mitigate actual-to-budget variances • Support the corporate accounting team in the month-end close process • Support financial reporting for SEC public filings • Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state, and local regulatory laws and rules

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field • Minimum of 10 years of accounting/finance experience • Prior supervisory experience recommended • Strong analytical, strategic planning, and leadership skills • Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive execution • Proficiency with financial software and ERP systems, particularly NetSuite and SAP • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Experience in biopharma industry preferred • MBA or CPA preferred • Authorization to work in the United States • Must answer whether employment visa sponsorship will be required
