📋 Description

• Execute retro-commissioning and commissioning services for assigned projects within budget, schedule, and quality requirements • Drive project outcomes for retro-commissioning and relevant new construction commissioning scopes using a solutions-based approach • Collaborate with engineering and execution project executives, construction management, engineers, and trade partners • Lead and develop resources assigned to the Technical Services team • Perform duties according to company safety guidelines, policies, and procedures • Mentor and manage the assigned team • Participate in developing project scope, technical approach, KPIs, staffing plans, and estimates for new projects • Establish and update Technical Services Project Execution Plans • Develop and maintain monthly project cost forecasts • Develop and manage delivery schedules and integrate tasks with the master project schedule • Participate in project scheduling meetings to identify and resolve conflicts and shortfalls • Monitor scope adjustments across automation and MEP disciplines and communicate concerns, conflicts, schedule changes, and budget updates • Manage project resources and track project KPIs to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery • Coordinate with the Technical Services Director regarding staff utilization and skill sets • Track energy performance during construction and collaborate to meet and maintain performance targets • Coordinate project requirements and documentation with delivery team members and partners • Coordinate design, construction, data delivery, and MBCx project scopes • Identify, communicate, track, assign, and resolve design or construction issues • Collaborate with the Energy Management team to quantify and prioritize responses to existing conditions, deficiencies, and issues • Assist with issue resolution and propose project solutions • Address or escalate constraints to project outcomes and scope completion • Direct, coordinate, document, and follow up on team communications • Review project expense reports and time entries for accuracy, budget adherence, and policy compliance • Perform project closeout activities, including reporting, team reviews, turnover meetings, and lessons-learned meetings • Adhere to IS Delivery and IS Technical Services process guidelines and SOPs • Uphold company organizational core values • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical field • 5+ years of commissioning or related experience with mechanical, electrical, building automation systems, programming, or building operation management experience • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong leadership skills • Attention to safety • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills • Ability to work with minimal or limited information • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) • Competency with cloud-based commissioning software platforms • Willingness and ability to travel 30–40% of the time to job sites and office locations within the region • Ability to perform physical activities including climbing stairs, ascending and descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and poles, and operating machinery and/or power tools • Ability to perform medium work, including adjusting and/or moving objects up to 50 pounds
