• Manage all project team members across potentially multiple projects and geographies • Champion project safety and risk management • Mentor and train Project Managers and Superintendents • Manage project financials and communicate them to leadership • Inform the Vice President about employee development and performance issues • Interpret contract terms and conditions and resolve risks and business issues • Lead development of subcontract and purchase order exhibits • Coordinate project schedule development and workflow to meet energy savings goals • Monitor and manage change management resolution • Monitor and manage progress billings, including issuing, negotiating, and collecting them • Ensure accurate monthly reporting and lead monthly project meetings • Verify financial forecasting • Manage and resolve project risk issues • Serve as key client contact and project leader • Ensure project completion according to energy and financial goals • Build and maintain relationships with contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and owners • Implement company policies and procedures on projects • Participate in industry and community activities • Promote ethical and professional behavior
• Minimum of 8-10 years of verifiable experience in large ($20M+) commercial construction • Experience in higher education, healthcare, advanced technology, life sciences, office buildings, or similar commercial construction sectors • Design-build experience is a plus • 4-year degree in Construction Management or related field and applicable field work experience in the company’s core markets • Leadership skills and willingness to address challenges, resolve issues, and motivate others while maintaining relationships • Ability to manage complex situations involving ambiguity and conflict resolution • Ability to maintain focus on safety, financial performance, and client expectations • Experience with pull planning and Last Planner System • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite • Proficiency in project management software such as Procore or similar • Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera or similar • Effective verbal and written communication skills • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment • Knowledge of the industry and the company's competitors • Ability to multitask and perform duties outside the scope of work when necessary • Ability to travel 5-10% of the time to job sites/office locations • Ability to climb stairs and remain stationary, standing or sitting, for prolonged periods • Ability to perform light work involving moving objects up to 20 pounds
