📋 Description

• Become an expert in BEUMER products, applications, industry trends, and developments • Understand customer requirements and business objectives and recommend appropriate products and solutions • Analyze customer requirements and identify system design needs • Support Systems Engineering in designing end-to-end logistics solutions, including conveyor and sortation systems, using 2D and 3D CAD • Analyze logistics workflows and processes to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks • Propose optimizations and automation opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs • Calculate throughput, performance, and functionality of proposed solutions and compare them with customer objectives • Customize and configure products for customer-specific requirements • Develop prototypes, conduct feasibility studies, and perform testing and validation • Lead pre-sales collaboration with Sales, Systems Engineering, Operations, and Software/Controls departments • Serve as the primary senior technical and commercial point of contact for customers • Coordinate with software developers, project managers, and operations staff during proposal development • Lead the handover from sales to operations while maintaining the customer relationship • Create technical and commercial presentations for the sales team • Provide technical and commercial support to the sales team • Attend client meetings and calls and provide expert technical guidance • Facilitate achievement of customer goals and correct design parameters for proposed solutions

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering • 5+ years of experience in technical sales or systems engineering, focused on warehouse automation • Project management skills • Proven experience leading technical projects and teams • Strong time management and attention to detail • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • High computer literacy in MS Office Suite • Familiarity with 2D and 3D modeling, including AutoCAD and SolidEdge • Exceptional mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills • Strong active listening skills • Preferred experience with automated systems • Preferred experience with MS Excel/VBA programming • Ability to set and meet goals and work collaboratively
