📋 Description

• Drive lifecycle planning for customer assets across the installed base • Develop modernization, upgrade, and replacement strategies • Maintain and govern the asset registry and lifecycle database • Ensure asset data accuracy, completeness, and ongoing updates • Define and manage asset lifecycle stages from commissioning through end-of-life • Develop multi-year lifecycle, modernization, and replacement plans • Identify aging, obsolete, or high-risk assets and propose mitigation or upgrade strategies • Partner with technical and service teams to define modernization and upgrade offerings • Identify service and modernization revenue opportunities within the installed base • Collaborate with Sales and Service Directors to align lifecycle plans with commercial strategies • Provide lifecycle insights and asset intelligence for customer proposals and business cases • Coordinate with Service Operations to ensure lifecycle strategies are operationally feasible • Support customer engagement, forecasting, and pipeline development related to modernization and replacement • Develop dashboards and reports on asset health, lifecycle status, and modernization pipeline • Track KPIs for installed base coverage, lifecycle risk, and upgrade penetration • Provide regular updates and recommendations to the Senior Service Manager

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience • 7+ years of experience in asset management, lifecycle management, obsolescence management, installed base management, and service management • Experience within industrial automation, intralogistics, or related industries • Strong understanding of long-life industrial systems and service-based business models • Experience with asset databases, CMMS, ERP, or service management tools • Experience in intralogistics automation, including AS/RS, conveyors, sortation, AGVs/AMRs, or warehouse control systems preferred • Familiarity with modernization and retrofit strategies for industrial automation systems preferred • Experience supporting service sales or installed base development initiatives preferred • Knowledge of lifecycle cost analysis and asset risk assessment preferred • Strong analytical and data management skills • Ability to translate technical asset data into actionable business strategies • Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills • Customer-focused mindset with a proactive, long-term view of asset performance • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
