📋 Description

• Serve as a contact point between established clients and the Bicycle Health program • Provide peer-based support through one-on-one coaching and peer support groups • Document visits in the electronic health record in real time, with quality suitable for medical providers • Use patient management tools to track client progress, maintain engagement, and document treatment and support participation • Engage clients in education and conversation about substance use, treatment, and recovery • Provide information about community, online, and other relevant support resources • Identify participation barriers and communicate them to appropriate clinical team members • Apply the Motivational Interviewing framework consistently in client interactions • Communicate closely with medical providers and support staff involved in assigned clients' care • Attend and contribute to assigned meetings • Support program quality improvement metrics • Maintain regular and predictable attendance • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience as a peer recovery coach, peer support worker, or addiction counselor • At least 1 year of experience conducting virtual recovery groups • At least 2 years of experience in a medical practice or behavioral health field, including EHR documentation and direct communication with medical providers • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills • Cultural awareness and responsiveness • Understanding of confidentiality requirements for handling client information • Ability to practice self-care while supporting individuals with complex needs • Ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary team focused on company-level goals • Ability to travel up to 5% of the time • Personal experience with substance use disorder treatment and recovery, through one's own recovery journey or close personal/professional relationships with individuals in SUD care • Candidates must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis and physically reside within the US • Bicycle Health does not offer visa sponsorship now or in the future
