📋 Description

• Perform full-cycle month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis • Handle the end-to-end accounts receivable process from invoice to payment • Proactively manage collections and escalations • Ensure timely sales tax filings • Manage cash reconciliation, prepaids, fixed assets, accruals, and US tax filings • Assist with commission calculation, accruals, capitalization, and payments • Assist with intercompany accounting, multi-entity transactions, and financial reporting • Provide support during the annual audit and other audit inquiries • Improve finance processes, systems, and reporting capabilities using automation and AI-driven insights where appropriate • Report to the Director of Accounting • Own key accounting functions on the Controllership team • Run the established six-month close with little ramp time

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or other comparable fields • Minimum 4 years of experience in accounting, audit, or financial reporting within public accounting or a multinational SaaS company setting • Experience with US GAAP, including GL accounting, accruals, prepaids, and internal controls • Experience with external audits • Must have Netsuite experience • Preferred: Experience with Coupa, Expensify, Captivate IQ, and Harbor Compliance software • Preferred: Sales commissions accounting under ASC 340-40, including capitalization and amortization • Preferred: Intercompany accounting in a multi-entity company • Must be located in the USA across Pacific, Mountain, Central, or Eastern time zones • Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
