📋 Description

• Provide behavioral health crisis consultation services and related service delivery for youth, adults, and geriatric populations in a hospital-based setting • Provide assessment, treatment interventions, and crisis counseling • Manage the acute phase of behavioral health crises; assess, triage, and refer clients to appropriate services • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with hospital staff and other providers • Use supervision effectively, share pertinent information, accept feedback, and seek guidance for difficult cases • Maintain current knowledge of resources, policies, procedures, regulatory and compliance requirements • Answer telephone calls and provide timely assessments and next-step support • Abide by emergency department performance specifications • Meet productivity standards • Maintain a professional demeanor and perform other related duties as assigned • Conduct the position remotely via telehealth, with evaluations performed in-person or via telehealth at the assigned hospital

🎯 Requirements

• LICSW, LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, Licensed Psychologist, master's Level clinician, or psychiatric nurse (RN), required • Experience and training in emergency psychiatric services working with adults, youth and their families, including training in de-escalation strategies and emergency services system of care, preferred • Effective communication and organizational skills, required • Proficient computer skills and ability to complete documentation electronically, required • Must be vaccinated against influenza as a condition of employment
