📋 Description

• Provide behavioral health crisis consultation services and related service delivery for youth, adult and geriatric populations in a hospital-based setting • Provide assessment, treatment interventions and crisis counseling • Manage the acute phase of clients presenting in behavioral health crisis; assess, triage and refer clients to appropriate services • Develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with hospital-based staff and other providers • Utilize supervision effectively, share pertinent information, accept performance feedback, and seek guidance for difficult cases • Maintain current knowledge and use of relevant resources, policies, procedures, regulatory and compliance requirements • Answer telephone calls as needed and provide timely assessment and next-step support • Abide by emergency department performance specifications • Meet productivity standards • Maintain a professional demeanor and perform other related duties as assigned • Conduct evaluations remotely via telehealth, with evaluations performed either in person at the hospital or via telehealth

🎯 Requirements

• LICSW, LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, Licensed Psychologist, master's Level clinician, or psychiatric nurse (RN), required • Experience and training in emergency psychiatric services working with adults, youth and their families, including training in de-escalation strategies and emergency services system of care, preferred • Effective communication and organizational skills, required • Proficient computer skills and the ability to complete documentation electronically is required • Must work per diem • Must be vaccinated against influenza (flu) as a condition of employment
