📋 Description

• Design, operate, and continuously improve a best-in-class, end-to-end product value chain connecting patients to medicines • Ensure reliable supply of quality products across clinical and commercial lifecycle stages • Deliver products to markets according to service and lead-time targets • Drive product lifecycle management, optimizing lead time, cost, and resilience • Define and execute product and network strategies, including goods flow, SKU, and inventory strategies • Identify and champion strategic investments supporting growth, resilience, and long-term sustainability • Identify, assess, and communicate risks affecting product quality, compliance, patient supply, and business continuity • Lead mitigation and escalation for actionable supply risks, including patient-level stockout scenarios • Own business continuity, supply chain efficiency, and agility plans • Manage inventory health, supply chain cost drivers, product costing, and standard costs • Enable data-driven, risk-based decision-making across the value chain • Represent the product in brand reviews, regional reviews, portfolio governance, and other business forums • Define the target operating model across Planning, Manufacturing, Quality, Logistics, and external partners • Build strategic partnerships with Commercial, Clinical, Technical Operations, and Enterprise functions • Lead cross-functional matrix teams, coach team members, monitor deliverables, and provide performance feedback

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (BS/BSc) in life sciences, engineering, supply chain, or business administration • 8–12+ years in materials management/production planning/scheduling • 5–10+ years in GMP/GCP compliant pharmaceutical operations • 2–5+ years leading global, cross-functional, matrixed teams • Strong supply chain and value chain management expertise • ERP expertise; Oracle or SAP preferred • Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulatory frameworks, including GMP and ICH • Risk and project/program management expertise • Capability to assess issues across Regulatory, Quality, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing perspectives • Executive-level communication and influence-based leadership • Cross-cultural/global execution • Strategic and operational thinking • Continuous improvement and process excellence mindset • Willingness to travel internationally as required • MBA preferred • APICS or equivalent supply chain certification preferred • Lean/DMAIC certification (Green Belt or higher) preferred • PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred • Biopharmaceutical operations experience preferred • Strong financial and business acumen preferred • Advanced regulatory and GMP expertise, including ICH Q8–Q12, preferred
