📋 Description

• Lead enterprise planning across demand, supply, inventory, capacity, and financial objectives through Integrated Business Planning (IBP) • Own the global IBP framework and maintain the Product Review, Demand Review, Supply Review, Integrated Reconciliation, and Executive IBP cadence • Own the S&OE process and align near-term demand, supply, and inventory decisions with the IBP framework • Integrate clinical and commercial planning across shared supply sources and manufacturing assets • Oversee reconciliation of commercial, patient, named-patient, early-access, and clinical trial demand signals • Define inventory policies, targets, and positioning strategies while minimizing expiry and ensuring patient access • Lead risk-based scenario planning for demand surges, supply disruptions, and single-source component issues • Chair cross-functional IBP forums and establish governance and decision rights • Lead structured decision-making in Executive IBP and provide scenarios, risks, and recommendations to senior leaders • Lead and develop the Integrated Planning & Analytics team through mentoring, goals, feedback, and training • Improve planning maturity and collaboration through a harmonized integrated planning playbook • Partner with Finance during AOP/LRP cycles and integrate operational, revenue, COGS, and margin considerations • Support business cases for strategic investments and lead long-range capacity planning and modeling • Define the IBP technology vision with Digital/IT and ensure critical planning data quality • Lead data analytics to develop planning insights, improve forecastability, and evaluate risk-based scenarios • Drive adoption of IBP behaviors, communicate risks and trade-offs to senior leadership, and build planning capability globally • Serve as an internal expert and thought leader on best-practice IBP/S&OP for rare disease and biologics

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Life Sciences, or related field • 12+ years of progressive supply chain or operations leadership in biotech, pharmaceutical, or rare disease environments • Proven leadership of global S&OP/IBP processes, including long-range capacity planning, inventory strategy, and executive decision support • Strong command of ERP, advanced planning systems, and analytics tools that support scenario modeling and business decisions • Demonstrated success leading through senior executives in complex, matrixed global organizations • Deep understanding of life science supply chains, including access variability, long lead times, biologics complexity, and patient-critical supply continuity • Strong financial acumen with proven cross-functional leadership in matrixed organizations • Candidates must be based in United States • Preferred: Master’s degree (MBA, MS, or equivalent) • Preferred: Experience with biologics, gene therapy, enzyme replacement therapies, or other complex rare disease modalities • Preferred: APICS/ASCM, SCOR-P, or equivalent certification • Preferred: Experience integrating clinical and commercial supply processes • Preferred: Familiarity with global regulatory / GxP constraints uniquely impacting rare disease therapies
