📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines, integrations, and backend services supporting DoD systems. • Work with structured and semi-structured data across secure enterprise environments. • Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes, data workflows, and data movement solutions. • Collaborate with backend, DevOps, cloud, and application teams to support scalable system architecture. • Develop APIs, services, and integrations that support data access and system interoperability. • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize data processing and backend performance issues. • Ensure data quality, reliability, security, and compliance with federal standards. • Participate in full SDLC activities including requirements, design, development, testing, and deployment. • Support modernization and cloud migration initiatives, including AWS, Azure, or GovCloud environments. • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automation, and deployment processes where applicable.

🎯 Requirements

• U.S. Citizen. • Active Top Secret (TS) clearance required to start; TS/SCI or SCI eligibility preferred. • 8+ years of professional experience in software engineering, data engineering, backend development, or related technical roles. • Bachelor's degree required • Strong backend engineering fundamentals. • Experience designing and building data pipelines, integrations, or data processing workflows. • Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, or similar. • Programming experience with one or more backend/data engineering languages such as Python, Java, Scala, or similar. • Experience working with Git-based version control systems. • Understanding of Agile/Scrum development practices. • Ability to work independently in a remote, cleared technical environment.
