• Build and lead an enterprise biomedical service operating model supporting quality, scale, and consistency • Standardize service processes, workflows, documentation expectations, escalation paths, and leadership routines across sites and regions • Improve preventive maintenance compliance, corrective maintenance response time, time to repair, equipment uptime, backlog, overdue work orders, work order quality, technician effectiveness, parts usage, and service cost control • Create management systems, scorecards, and operating reviews to identify issues and drive accountability • Improve CMMS discipline, including asset records, PM scheduling, work order workflows, documentation, and reporting • Strengthen regulatory readiness, maintenance documentation, audit preparedness, and healthcare compliance • Define and govern AEM and risk-based maintenance practices where appropriate • Work with field and site leaders to improve execution, coach performance, and close operational gaps • Hire, develop, and strengthen on-site and regional biomedical leadership • Coordinate with external service and OEM partners • Travel regularly to maintain field visibility, support leaders in person, and implement enterprise standards • Improve PM completion, maintenance backlog, responsiveness, uptime, CMMS data quality, audit performance, customer confidence, local leadership strength, and operational consistency
• Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering, clinical engineering, healthcare technology management, electronics, engineering technology, or a related field • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in biomedical service, clinical engineering, or HTM operations • Experience leading multi-site hospital biomed operations or complex healthcare service environments • Demonstrated success standardizing service delivery and improving operational performance across distributed teams • Deep understanding of medical equipment maintenance programs, service workflows, regulatory requirements, and field leadership practices • Strong working knowledge of CMMS systems, asset management, maintenance documentation, and operational reporting • Experience driving PM compliance, backlog management, uptime, work order quality, and technician productivity • Strong people leadership skills, including hiring, coaching, accountability management, and leadership development • Ability to move between strategic planning and hands-on execution • Willingness to travel regularly • Preferred: CBET, CCE, CRES, or CLES certifications • Preferred: AEM programs and risk-based maintenance strategy experience • Preferred: Multi-vendor service environment experience • Preferred: OEM and third-party service organization partnership experience • Preferred: Acute care hospital operations familiarity • Preferred: Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodology experience
