📋 Description

• Maintain and validate product sustainability statistics used in retail materials and product detail pages, following established instructions and reference sources • Support EPR (Extended Producer Responsibility) reporting through data collection and development or completion of California’s ISR (Individual Source Reduction) requirements • Support the B Corp gap assessment and preparation for the next recertification cycle • Provide sustainability inputs for monthly and quarterly Stage Gate updates • Report the carbon impact of active projects • Track progress against Science Aligned Targets using quarterly footprint data • Share updates on carbon-reduction projects • Report to the Chief Innovation Officer

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in sustainability, environmental science, public policy, or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience • 3+ years of experience in corporate sustainability, ESG, compliance, or a related field • Working knowledge of environmental reporting and compliance frameworks • Familiarity with packaging EPR and California source-reduction requirements strongly preferred • Experience supporting B Corp certification, recertification, or completion of the B Impact Assessment preferred • Familiarity with corporate greenhouse-gas accounting, carbon-reduction targets, and communicating project-level carbon impacts • Strong analytical skills • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including validating data, identifying inconsistencies, and maintaining supporting documentation • Ability to work independently from established processes and documentation with minimal ramp-up time • Exceptional attention to detail, data accuracy, organization, and follow-through • Must work remotely within the United States
