📋 Description

• Set up tracking, metrics, and evaluation guardrails for AI models and automated workflows • Design custom dashboards, composite monitors, and anomaly alerts such as Watchdog • Build and replicate structured log pipelines, indexing rules, and metric aggregations for new projects and infrastructure • Monitor code pipelines and system performance across production, failover, UAT, and QA environments • Quickly identify and diagnose production issues using observability practices • Flag issues early and keep the DevOps lead informed • Give the DevOps team visibility across code pipelines, applications, databases, and environments

🎯 Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship • Prior hands-on experience with Datadog in an enterprise environment • Strong grasp of observability: logging, metrics, monitoring, and alerting • Background as a Site Reliability Engineer or in a similar role • Self-starter who works independently and takes ownership of their work • Able to work East Coast business hours • Hands-on Datadog and observability experience • Ideally 10+ years in IT and 3+ years with Datadog • Experience monitoring AI/ML models or automated workflows • Scripting experience, e.g., Python • Experience in large, regulated organizations such as insurance or financial services
