📋 Description

• Define and own the multi-year Finance IT technology strategy and roadmap • Serve as primary technology partner to Finance leadership across Controllership, FP&A, Accounting, Treasury, and Procurement • Lead platform rationalization, consolidation, modernization, and emerging AI/ML, automation, and cloud initiatives • Oversee end-to-end delivery of Finance technology implementations, upgrades, integrations, and enhancements • Drive Agile and hybrid project execution, portfolio prioritization, governance, and reporting • Ensure availability, performance, reliability, SLA management, incident response, and root-cause resolution for Finance platforms • Own technology capabilities across R2R, S2P, Asset Accounting, Payroll, O2C, Budget & Forecasting, Reporting, and Analytics • Lead finance transformation, close automation, intelligent procurement, Workday Accounting Center adoption, and Generative AI/Copilot roadmap development • Maintain platform utilization intelligence, application and SKU rationalization, license reviews, vendor-roadmap analysis, and technology radar activities • Lead and develop a global Finance IT team and manage vendors, system integrators, and platform partners • Own Legal and Compliance systems strategy, including Ironclad CLM, compliance management, legal matters, and entity platforms • Lead system adoption, role-based training, change impact assessments, communications, and adoption KPIs • Own Finance IT testing strategy across unit, integration, regression, UAT, and parallel-run testing • Own Finance IT General Controls, SOX compliance, access controls, segregation of duties, audit support, and continuous controls monitoring

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ years of progressive technology leadership experience • 5+ years in a Finance IT or ERP leadership role • Deep Workday Financials expertise, including Workday Accounting Center implementation and post-production operations • Experience leading complex, multi-workstream Finance technology programs in a global enterprise • Strong domain knowledge across R2R, S2P, AP, O2C, Asset Accounting, Payroll, and FP&A • Experience with financial close platforms and planning/budgeting tools • Track record leading and developing diverse, distributed global technology teams • Ability to partner strategically with Finance executives while maintaining delivery accountability • Strong understanding of SOX controls, financial compliance, and audit requirements in technology • Finance technology acumen in platform utilization, application rationalization, roadmapping, vendor strategy, and AI capabilities • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field • Preferred Workday Finance certifications or implementation credentials • Preferred experience with Lucernex or comparable lease accounting platforms • Preferred hands-on Ironclad CLM or comparable CLM platform experience and Salesforce/Finance integrations • Preferred experience supporting Legal Operations or Compliance technology functions • Preferred exposure to AI/ML finance automation use cases • MBA or advanced related degree preferred • Preferred SaaS, high-growth technology, or supply chain software experience • Familiarity with Agentforce, Microsoft Copilot, or Workday AI preferred
