📋 Description

• Own daily settlement review and reconciliation processes across multiple banking partners • Review settlement files and validate bank-reported activity against internal ledger transactions • Perform detailed reconciliation and variance analysis • Review and validate NACHA files and settlement transactions • Investigate payment discrepancies and identify root causes of settlement variances • Escalate issues and collaborate with internal teams to resolve exceptions • Coordinate manual money movements and settlement adjustments • Serve as an operational checkpoint before external file release and settlement processing • Communicate settlement status, reconciliation results, and exception findings to stakeholders • Prepare account reconciliations and supporting documentation • Assist with monthly close activities, journal entries, and account analysis • Support balance sheet reconciliation processes • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures • Participate in audits and provide supporting documentation • Partner with Accounting, Production Support, Engineering, Data, and Operations teams • Work with banking partners and third-party vendors on settlement and reporting activities • Identify process, control, automation, and efficiency improvements • Assist with backup coverage and cross-functional financial operations responsibilities

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent combination of education and experience • 3+ years of accounting, financial operations, reconciliation, treasury, banking, payments, or related experience • Strong experience performing reconciliations and variance analysis • Experience investigating financial discrepancies and resolving exceptions • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis • Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • Banking, FinTech, payment processing, ACH, NACHA, card processing, or settlement experience preferred • Experience working directly with financial institutions or sponsor banks preferred • Exposure to financial operations, treasury management, or payment operations preferred • Experience with Power BI or financial reporting tools preferred • Familiarity with SQL, data analysis, or reporting platforms preferred • Experience using Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar productivity and AI tools preferred • Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future
