📋 Description

• Understand and articulate the business case for business questions and the estimated value being delivered • Design dashboards, analyses, visualizations and analytics tools to address business questions • Identify trends and patterns and provide insights through reporting and data visualization • Work with data and analytics professionals to optimize, refine, automate and scale analyses into repeatable solutions and decision-support tools • Build reporting dashboards using data extraction, cleaning and visualization techniques • Select, configure and implement analytics solutions for consistency and repeatability • Research and apply continuous improvement in data visualization • Work with teams, management and stakeholders to improve usability and aesthetic appeal of analytics solutions • Translate business needs into technical specifications and evaluate existing data visualization systems • Develop visualizations of large amounts of data for intuitive presentation to decision makers • Document data flows, systems and processes • Develop tools and deliver training programs for reporting tools and self-serve analytics • Operate at a group/enterprise-wide level as a senior specialist resource across BMO • Influence how teams and groups work together • Address unique, ambiguous and complex problems creatively • Communicate abstract concepts in simple terms • Build internal and external networks and collaborate across multiple teams • Anticipate trends and implement appropriate changes • Perform broader work or accountabilities as assigned
