📋 Description

• Drive demand for BMS medicines within the assigned cardiovascular portfolio for appropriate patients • Engage health care providers through differentiated customer experiences and deeper scientific dialogue consistent with product labeling • Build and maintain professional credibility with regional thought leaders, community-based physicians, HCPs, office staff, and other patient-care stakeholders • Liaise with BMS functions to meet HCP needs in a timely and scientific manner • Promote approved indications within a defined territory or region while meeting or exceeding sales targets compliantly • Articulate the clinical and scientific rationale for products in appropriate patients • Maintain and grow scientific expertise in assigned products and therapeutic areas • Prepare and implement comprehensive territory and account plans • Use SOPHIA and CE^3 to derive insights and dynamically inform call plans • Provide tool-use feedback to leadership for continuous improvement • Present approved scientific information in offices, including lunch-and-learns • Organize external speaker programs and manage approved-speaker scheduling and logistics • Maintain working expertise on emerging data for approved indications • Use Medical on Call to answer unsolicited questions and complex technical inquiries • Collaborate with other field teams to deliver the best HCP customer experience • Gather and share customer insights internally with appropriate stakeholders • Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and BMS policies • Spend much of the time in the field with external customers

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology experience as healthcare sales / MSL / HCP / nurse • Ability to communicate scientific or clinical data accurately and convincingly to physicians • Experience building and maintaining credibility with key customers, office staff, and other stakeholders • Experience in cardiovascular preferred • Strong account management skills • Superior selling competencies and proven sales performance track record of meeting or exceeding goals • Ability to work effectively cross-functionally • Strong selling and promotional skills with a track record of performance • Ability to drive business results and understand market drivers • Experience identifying, engaging, and cultivating credibility with customers across the patient care journey • Understanding of the patient journey and patient-focused mindset • Excellent communication and presentation skills • Strong learning mindset and passion for science • Ability to analyze prescribing patterns, market trends, HCP preferences, and clinical data • Ability to segment HCPs and tailor communication and product presentations • Ability to use CE^3 to generate insights and conduct dynamic call planning • Ability to use healthcare technology and digital communication channels • Competency using CE^3 and other software or CRM tools • Ability to use Medical on Call technology • Strong business acumen and ability to develop, execute, and adjust business plans • High integrity and good judgment to perform compliantly in accordance with BMS policies and procedures • At least 21 years of age • Driver’s license in good standing issued by the state of residence • Acceptable driving risk level as determined by the Company
