• Drive demand for BMS medicines within the assigned cardiovascular portfolio for appropriate patients • Engage health care providers through differentiated customer experiences and deeper scientific dialogue consistent with product labeling • Build and maintain professional credibility with regional thought leaders, community-based physicians, medical groups, office staff, and patient-care stakeholders • Liaise with other BMS functions to deliver a higher customer experience • Promote approved indications within a defined territory or region to meet or exceed assigned sales targets compliantly • Articulate the clinical and scientific rationale for products in appropriate patients • Maintain and grow scientific expertise in assigned products and therapeutic areas • Prepare and implement comprehensive territory and account plans • Use SOPHIA and CE^3 to derive insights and dynamically inform call plans • Provide feedback on tools to leadership for continuous improvement • Present approved scientific resources and publications accurately to HCPs • Conduct in-office presentations, including lunch-and-learns • Organize external speaker programs and coordinate approved speakers, scheduling, and logistics • Maintain working expertise on emerging data for approved indications • Use Medical on Call for unsolicited questions and complex technical inquiries • Collaborate with field teams and share customer insights internally • Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and BMS policies • Spend much of the working time in the field with external customers
• Advanced scientific degree and/or preferred 5+ years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology experience as healthcare sales / MSL / HCP / nurse • Ability to communicate scientific or clinical data accurately and convincingly to physicians • Experience building and maintaining strong credibility with key customers, office staff, and others in the customer influence network • Experience in cardiovascular preferred • Strong account management skills • Superior selling competencies and proven sales performance track record of meeting or exceeding goals • Ability to work effectively cross-functionally • Strong selling and promotional skills with a track record of performance • Excellent communication and presentation skills for scientific and clinical data • Ability to analyze prescribing patterns, market trends, HCP preferences, and clinical data • Ability to segment HCPs and tailor communication and product presentations • Ability to use CE^3 for insights and dynamic call planning • Competency using CE^3 and other software or CRM tools • Ability to use Medical on Call technology effectively • Strong business acumen and ability to develop, execute, and adjust business plans • Learning agility, integrity, and good judgment • Qualified Driver requirements: at least 21 years of age; driver’s license in good standing issued by state of residence; acceptable driving risk level • Offers contingent upon meeting Company Qualified Driver requirements
