📋 Description

• Develop and maintain SCOPE courses as assigned by the Lead Instructional Designer • Collaborate with course developers to design SCOPE course offerings according to course development/revision contract parameters • Evaluate content for alignment with course learning outcomes • Make course-development decisions according to best practices to provide online learners with a high-quality learning experience from a biblical worldview • Apply teaching and learning principles to materials, lesson pages, discussions, learning activities, and assessments for the online environment • Place course content, images, and recordings in the BJUOnline LMS • Use AI tools appropriately for course design, drafting, content review, and instructional asset creation • Prepare, proofread, edit, and format course materials according to educational standards • Ensure ADA compliance and appropriate MLA, APA, and Turabian research documentation • Trim and caption videos • Perform other tasks specified by the Lead Instructional Designer

🎯 Requirements

• Ability to work with minimal supervision • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team player • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail • Ability to learn and apply new technologies • Willingness to learn and apply AI tools in instructional design, with sound judgment about their appropriate and ethical use • Liberal arts education or broad knowledge in a variety of academic fields • Experience or background in education preferred • Experience with an LMS; Canvas preferred • Experience with video management, lecture capture, and authoring software • Must be a born-again Christian with a personal relationship with Jesus Christ • Must agree with and affirm the Bob Jones University creed, mission, and core biblical doctrines • Must maintain a conservative lifestyle and support Bob Jones University’s stated positions on beverage alcohol and addictive substances, creation, marriage and human sexuality, and sanctity of life • Must be an active member of a local Bible-believing church holding orthodox theology • Must be committed to providing students an excellent, world-class education from a biblical worldview
