⢠Develop compensation programs, policies and plans for executive, management and staff levels ⢠Counsel senior leaders on pay decisions, compensation practices, and policy and guideline interpretation ⢠Provide detailed analysis/models, innovative recommendations, and expert advice to management and HR executives ⢠Educate and coach management on compensation philosophy, salary structures, market analysis, merit and bonus processes ⢠Partner with HR Communications to develop employee messaging on compensation topics ⢠Oversee annual implementation and administration of compensation programs and systems ⢠Manage merit, market and equity analysis, recommendations and adjustments, and short- and long-term variable compensation ⢠Ensure data integrity within data management and reporting ⢠Lead cross-functional workgroups addressing associate pay, mergers and acquisitions, cost-saving initiatives, audit findings, and compensation system development and implementation ⢠Partner with the Human Resources Compensation Committee independent consultant on plans and programs requiring review and approval ⢠Support materials development for Compensation Committee presentations ⢠Ensure accurate reporting, budgeting and compliance with applicable compensation laws and regulations ⢠Provide support and expertise for successful union negotiations and bargaining ⢠Lead the system Compensation team through mentoring, goal setting, policy development and resource optimization
⢠Bachelor Degree in Human Resources, Management or Accounting ⢠Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) ⢠10+ years of progressive compensation experience, including healthcare compensation experience ⢠Critical thinking skills and decisive judgment ⢠Ability to work with minimal supervision ⢠Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action ⢠Experience leading and mentoring others ⢠M&A experience ⢠MBA or MHR preferred ⢠PHR or SPHR preferred
