📋 Description

• Serve as a senior clinical leader and addiction medicine subject matter expert • Strengthen clinical quality, consistency, and patient safety across Boulder’s virtual care model • Review and refine clinical protocols, formulary standards, and evidence-based practice guidelines • Support quality assurance, chart reviews, and clinical audits • Advise on complex clinical cases and emerging clinical issues • Align clinical standards with evidence, regulations, and payer expectations • Mentor, coach, and support clinical leaders and clinicians • Contribute to clinician education, onboarding, and clinical development programs • Translate quality findings and emerging evidence into scalable workflows and care standards • Identify process, policy, and infrastructure gaps and implement solutions cross-functionally • Drive adoption of workflows, protocols, and care models across a distributed workforce • Evaluate and support new service lines and care models • Assess clinical readiness, staffing, protocols, and quality implications for new programs • Establish governance, quality standards, and outcome measurement for new services • Serve as clinical liaison to Product, Operations, Analytics, and other teams • Translate clinical priorities into product requirements and operational processes • Advise on care technology, decision-support tools, AI-enabled workflows, and platform enhancements • Report to the SVP & Head of Medical Affairs and collaborate with the VP of Clinical Care and Clinical Services leadership

🎯 Requirements

• Board Certification in Addiction Medicine with active medical license in good standing • Minimum 5 years of clinical experience caring for patients with substance use disorders • Experience leading clinicians, clinical programs, or multidisciplinary healthcare teams • Experience building or scaling clinical programs, quality initiatives, care delivery models, or healthcare teams in a growing organization • Experience developing and implementing clinical protocols, workflows, and evidence-based standards across multiple clinicians or sites • Demonstrated success leading change and driving adoption of new clinical practices or operational processes • Experience using data and quality metrics to improve clinical performance • Exceptional communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills • Ability to influence across functions and lead through partnership • Must be located in one of: Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Idaho, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Nevada, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Washington, or Wyoming • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; visa sponsorship unavailable • Dedicated private workspace with a lockable door and high-speed internet • Preferred: experience in telehealth, digital health, or technology-enabled care delivery • Preferred: experience serving Medicaid and other publicly insured populations • Preferred: experience partnering with Product, Operations, Analytics, or Engineering • Preferred: familiarity with AI-enabled clinical workflows, clinical decision support tools, or healthcare technology innovation • Preferred: experience developing clinical leaders • Preferred: multi-state clinical leadership experience • Final candidates must undergo background checks and provide professional references
