📋 Description

• Manage the technical architecture, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing administration of enterprise SAP systems and databases • Provide hands-on SAP Basis administration to ensure SAP performance, stability, security, and availability • Design, maintain, and optimize SAP landscapes across development, testing, and production • Support SAP systems on Windows and Linux with HANA, Sybase, Oracle, and Microsoft SQL Server databases • Manage patching, upgrades, performance tuning, maintenance schedules, and lifecycle activities • Apply backup, recovery, restoration, and business continuity best practices • Participate in disaster recovery planning, testing, and validation • Troubleshoot complex SAP and database issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions • Provide technical leadership on infrastructure challenges and critical operational issues • Evaluate technical requirements and advise on architecture, integrations, and third-party dependencies • Support SAP environments on AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform • Collaborate with engineering, QA, customer support, professional services, and other cross-functional teams • Manage change control, technical risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies • Communicate project status, issues, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership • Develop and improve technical standards, operational procedures, and SAP administration best practices • Support modernization and optimization of enterprise SAP infrastructure and database systems

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field • 12+ years of relevant professional experience • Extensive hands-on SAP Basis administration experience, including installation, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance optimization • Strong understanding of SAP architecture, system landscapes, operational requirements, and SAP administration best practices • Experience administering SAP systems on Windows and Linux • Experience with SAP HANA, Sybase, Oracle, or Microsoft SQL Server • Experience supporting SAP implementations, upgrades, migrations, and production operations • Strong understanding of database backup and recovery, disaster recovery, and business continuity • Knowledge of AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) • Understanding of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS cloud models • Experience managing complex infrastructure initiatives and technical solutions • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, including root cause analysis • Experience with change management, risk assessments, and technical project coordination • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently • Must be a U.S. citizen and hold only U.S. citizenship
