📋 Description

• Verify skilled nursing patient setup in PointClickCare (PCC) • Bill and follow up on skilled nursing Medicare, Managed Care, Medicaid, coinsurance, and private-pay claims • Perform quality assurance checks of patient information in PCC • Create and bill carve-out and high-cost drug claims • Process revenue input, claim creation, billing, and follow-up for immunization charges • Maintain familiarity with current and past Managed Care contracts • Follow up on past-due revenue and maintain information for monthly calls with communities and the Finance Director • Support communities with PCC, Medicare/insurance, contract, and patient-account questions • Review skilled nursing credit accounts for refunds, escheatment, or PCC adjustments • Process write-offs and refunds through ServiceNow and PCC • Perform month-end closing of divested communities in PCC • Track claims against monthly billing deadlines • Provide support to other team members as needed

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or GED • Minimum of one to three years of related experience • Additional education may substitute for experience on a year-for-year basis, up to two years • Prior experience billing Medicare and insurance claims is required • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word • Full understanding of billing-related computer systems • Knowledge of insurance payers • Ability to organize daily office activities for timely information transmission • Strong communication and customer service skills • Effective interpersonal and organizational skills • Ability to work with high volume and detail • Adherence to HIPAA and confidentiality laws • Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers, reach, talk, hear, and see • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds • Experience with PointClickCare (PCC), Waystar, and SNF billing preferred
