• Serve as the lead supply chain representative for New Product Development within the Semiconductor Atmospheric Automation Product Development Team • Own new product material costs, including reporting cost drivers and cost changes • Partner with Engineering, Commodity Managers, and Suppliers to develop optimal material plans, optimize the supply base, and achieve lowest total acquisition cost • Coordinate new product releases through Brooks Product Life-Cycle Phase/Gates and required PLM and ERP systems • Manage product material requirements for new and legacy products across project lifecycle deliverables • Track and coordinate program supply chain deliverables, identify program risks, and develop mitigation plans • Report regularly on program status • Identify and mitigate long-term supply chain risks from new designs • Manage material flow according to project requirements, including supplier capacity and capability analysis • Support timely line fill and inventory optimization • Provide technical support for DFx, review engineering changes, and assess materials and supply-chain impact • Interact with suppliers to execute NPI deliverables and manage supplier relationships and performance • Drive process improvements across product development and supply chain processes • Travel occasionally, up to 20%, including internationally
• Degree in Engineering, Purchasing, or another technical discipline • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Commodity Management and/or Sourcing in an electro-mechanical manufacturing environment • 3+ years of experience in Program Management of New Product Introduction (NPI) through development and product life-cycle processes • Strong background with mechanical commodities, including sheet metal, precision machining, welding, plastics, injection molding, casting, and brazing • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, drawings, blueprints, product specifications, material tolerances, and finish specifications • Understanding of GD&T and mechanical industry workmanship standards • Experience with international purchasing and sourcing • Ability to work with geographically dispersed teams • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Customer-focused and self-motivated, with ability to prioritize multiple tasks with minimal direction • Ability to drive initiatives and programs with unclear initial definition • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills • Project/Program Management training or certification highly desirable • Lean Six-Sigma training or certification highly desirable • Semiconductor equipment manufacturing experience and knowledge highly desirable • Experience with a supply base in Southeast Asia preferred
