📋 Description

• Own a major feature, service, or technical workstream inside a product area • Translate product and business requirements into technical solutions • Deliver clean, efficient code based on sprint commitments and coding standards • Design, implement, test, deploy, and support major features, services, or substantial portions of team software • Make design trade-offs involving maintainability, performance, dependencies, delivery speed, and operational risk • Lead root-cause analysis for complex defects • Conduct code reviews and contribute to design discussions, planning, and operational excellence reviews • Improve development, testing, deployment, documentation, or support mechanisms • Use approved AI tools for coding, debugging, testing, and documentation while reviewing output for correctness, security, and maintainability • Mentor newer engineers and help onboard teammates • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, CIS, Software Engineering, or related degree, or equivalent practical experience • 3+ years of professional software engineering experience • Experience designing and building stable, maintainable, and performant software or services • Strong coding ability in at least one modern programming language and comfort working across a typical software delivery lifecycle • Experience with code reviews, design trade-offs, debugging, testing, and production support • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional partners • Extensive knowledge of Java, SQL, XML, HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, object-oriented programming, and relational databases (Oracle) • Must comply with all policies and standards
