• Design, deploy, and operate VMware-based virtualization platforms • Operate software-defined networking and software-defined storage platforms • Support on-premises and hybrid cloud environments • Work with vSphere, vSAN, NSX, Aria, and Tanzu • Automate platform operations and manage capacity • Operate VMware platforms at enterprise scale • Apply operations discipline to large VMware estates alongside cloud-native workloads • Troubleshoot issues across compute, network, and storage layers
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field • 6+ years of experience required • Five or more years of hands-on VMware platform engineering experience • Deep expertise in vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi • Hands-on experience with vSAN and storage policy management • Experience with NSX-T or NSX-V networking • Strong PowerCLI scripting skills and experience with automation tooling • Familiarity with Tanzu Kubernetes Grid or VMware container platforms • Strong understanding of disaster recovery patterns and SRM • Strong troubleshooting skills across compute, network, and storage layers • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • U.S. work authorization: U.S. Citizens, Green Card Holders, EAD Holders, and H-1B transfer candidates are encouraged to apply • Preferred: VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or VCAP credentials • Preferred: Experience with VMware Cloud on AWS, AVS, or GCVE • Preferred: Familiarity with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) • Preferred: Experience with Aria Operations / vRealize Operations • Preferred: Exposure to migration programs out of VMware to alternative virtualization platforms • Must submit a resume and application information
