📋 Description

• Design, deploy, and operate VMware-based virtualization platforms • Design, deploy, and operate software-defined networking platforms • Design, deploy, and operate software-defined storage platforms • Support on-premises and hybrid cloud environments • Work with vSphere, vSAN, NSX, Aria, and Tanzu • Perform automation and capacity management • Operate a large VMware estate alongside modern cloud-native workloads • Navigate the evolving VMware product landscape pragmatically • Apply strong automation and operations discipline

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field • 6+ years of experience required • Five or more years of hands-on VMware platform engineering experience • Deep expertise in vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi • Hands-on experience with vSAN and storage policy management • Experience with NSX-T or NSX-V networking • Strong PowerCLI scripting skills and experience with automation tooling • Familiarity with Tanzu Kubernetes Grid or VMware container platforms • Strong understanding of disaster recovery patterns and SRM • Strong troubleshooting skills across compute, network, and storage layers • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or VCAP credentials preferred • Experience with VMware Cloud on AWS, AVS, or GCVE preferred • Familiarity with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) preferred • Experience with Aria Operations / vRealize Operations preferred • Exposure to migration programs out of VMware to alternative virtualization platforms preferred • U.S. Citizens, Green Card Holders, EAD Holders, and H-1B transfer candidates are encouraged to apply • New H-1B visa petitions cannot be sponsored for this position
