• Manage events, workshops, and summits associated with the Strategic Sprints that are located at VA facilities. • Coordinate logistics, registration virtual and in-person setups, content development, breakout sessions, agendas, and participant engagement activities. • Provide Post-event evaluations and recommendations. • Provide Logistics Coordination plans and Vendor Management documentation. • Create conference registration materials. • Provide coordination of all items for conference with VA team and advisory group, covering all activities within pre-planning, planning, execution, and post-conference phases. • Provide coordination of onsite logistics and travel. • Assist the technology support team and coordination with VA OIT, as needed, for utilization of the conference application.
• Bachelor’s degree • A minimum of 6 years of experience planning conferences • Prior experience managing federal government events, both face to face and virtual • Certified Meeting Planner (CMP) certification required, Certified Government Meeting Planner (CGMP) preferred, (in lieu of CMP)
