📋 Description

• Design and implement data collection tools and techniques with technical teams • Create data pipelines using Python, SQL, and/or Azure Data Factory • Extrapolate data patterns using advanced algorithms to identify actionable insights • Develop graphs, charts, and visualizations to communicate technical findings • Present analytical outcomes to managers and stakeholders to guide business model adjustments and future planning • Collect, clean, and validate large datasets from multiple Department of Veterans Affairs sources • Translate raw data into meaningful reports supporting healthcare transformation goals • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data strategies with program objectives • Support predictive modeling and trend analysis to improve veteran healthcare delivery

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline • 8+ years’ experience in systems engineering, enterprise analytics environments, platform modernization, or technical analytical studies within large-scale enterprise or Federal environments • Experience with Azure Government, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory (ADF), or comparable enterprise cloud analytics platforms • Experience analyzing business and technical processes and translating requirements into enterprise technology or ERP solutions • Experience with cloud platforms, enterprise infrastructure, systems integration, or analytics environments • Ability to troubleshoot, triage, and resolve complex technical issues across interconnected systems and organizational infrastructure • Experience providing technical direction, guidance, or oversight to engineering and technical teams • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and technical documentation skills • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required federal public trust clearance • Resume must be submitted in Word document format and include dates in each section • Candidates must complete the application form • Preferred: experience supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs, federal agencies, or large public-sector organizations • Preferred: experience with ERP platforms and ERP modernization or implementation initiatives • Preferred: experience designing, integrating, and optimizing cloud-based or hybrid enterprise environments • Preferred: experience with VA enterprise analytics environments, Summit Data Platform, or Federal healthcare data ecosystems • Preferred: knowledge of federal IT standards, cybersecurity requirements, cloud governance, and VA technology policies • Preferred: experience working in Agile, DevSecOps, or other modern software and systems engineering environments • Preferred: relevant industry certifications such as Azure, AWS, GCP, ITIL, or other systems engineering and cloud certifications
