📋 Description

• Implement networking technologies for clients and support clients and their networks • Configure equipment and software to meet client business needs • Document solutions for ongoing support • Provide second-level technical support and main-level ticket tracking • Coordinate and/or perform remote fixes at desktop, server, and networking levels • Install and upgrade software, implement file backups, and configure systems and applications • Resolve Level 2 issues in Mac OS and Windows environments • Troubleshoot hardware and accurately determine fixes • Remotely troubleshoot hardware and software issues • Perform post-resolution follow-ups on help requests • Research issues and resolve technical problems • Implement and maintain operational documentation and procedures • Issue daily operations status reports and project status reports as required • Complete technical and special projects • Enter time daily in the ticketing platform and keep tickets updated • Maintain a minimum of 32 hours of billable time • Coordinate work assignments with Service Coordination • Coordinate intermittent project work assignments with Project Management • Learn new technologies and solutions • Maintain work calendar and update client documentation after network changes • Provide situational-awareness briefs on high-profile clients/projects • Own KPIs including Average Time to Resolution, CSAT, Employee Utilization, and SLA Adherence

🎯 Requirements

• Experience at an MSP, service desk and/or corporate IT • 5+ years of experience supporting small to mid-size clients as a technical support representative/consultant • 5+ years of project engineering experience • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills • Exceptional ability to multitask • Ability to be on-call and work after-hours • Ability to adapt and learn new platforms and skills on the fly • Experience with Apple hardware, Mac OS, Google (G-Suite), Windows, Office 365, Intune, and JAMF • Experience supporting Outlook/Office 365 Admin Portal • Experience managing and configuring Windows OS Workstation/Server OS security, sharing, patches, and group policies in a Windows Domain environment • Experience with cloud storage and remote connectivity solutions • Experience with advanced networking technologies • Experience remediating EDR-related issues • Experience implementing and remediating backup solutions • Familiarity with ConnectWise Automate or similar RMM solution • College degree from an accredited four-year institution or relevant technical experience • Previous customer support, sales, or technology experience • Current MCSE/MCSA or similar level Microsoft certification • Current CCNA certification or extensive knowledge and understanding of the OSI model • Ability to maintain necessary professional certification statuses • Customer approval may be required for access to customer information, systems, and/or premises
