📋 Description

• Manage the design, configuration, implementation, and maintenance of Windows and Windows Server images for EIT services across 187 bases • Support an enterprise IT service delivery model for a DoD customer • Design, configure, manage, automate, deploy, and troubleshoot Windows and Windows Server operating system images • Support physical and virtual servers and workstations, including associated networking, storage, and security • Design image management, tool integration, and deployment of physical and virtual server images • Consider enterprise-wide cost, performance, networking, storage, and security • Develop automation scripts to improve operating system delivery, security, and performance • Troubleshoot performance issues across the organization • Provide tier 3/4 support to system administrators • Guide operating-system optimization for platform interoperability and technology integration

🎯 Requirements

• US Citizenship required • Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain • 10+ years of relevant experience • Bachelor’s Degree in an applicable field may be substituted for 5 years of experience • Proven track record designing, implementing, and maintaining operating system images and deployment methods in a large enterprise • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Systems administration in Linux environments (RHCE equivalence) or Windows Server environments (MS Security Engineer/Solution Architect equivalence) • Experience integrating and securing ADDS, ADCS, ADFS, Windows AD-integrated PKI, and SSO implementation • Application/package management and OS deployment/configuration management using MCM, Intune, and Autopilot • Customer interaction experience, including presenting, answering questions, and proactively resolving issues • VMware implementation, management, and configuration • Experience securing systems using STIGs, best practices, NIST, FISMA, and FedRAMP requirements • Experience with log management, network firewalls, and testing • Data protection and compliance experience with OpenSSL, Keystores, Azure Key Vault, and ciphers • Agile/Kanban and Git/GitHub experience • Windows 11 and Windows Server 2022/2025 configuration and STIG/JSIG • Hyper-V/SCVMM experience • Relevant technical and/or security certifications are desired • One of Azure DevOps Engineering Expert, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Azure Security Engineer Associate is desired • Desired experience with ServiceNow, DevOps, Azure Boards, Azure Pipelines, Azure Repos, PowerShell, Ansible, Bash, Java, YAML, Python, Azure Cloud Computing, and listed enterprise/security products
