📋 Description

• Provide comprehensive software quality assurance and testing oversight for the Navy Medicine Online development team • Review development work and validate application readiness before production release • Develop, implement, and maintain formal QA processes, testing standards, and documentation • Monitor compliance throughout the software development lifecycle • Support RMF, ASR, ATO, and IV&V activities • Serve as the final quality gate for software releases and provide GO, GO-WITH-CONDITIONS, or NO-GO recommendations • Design, develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, test scripts, and automated test suites • Manage project pipelines in ALM environments, including testing, defect management, quality controls, and release readiness • Identify, analyze, document, prioritize, and track software defects, performance bottlenecks, integration issues, and other quality concerns • Communicate test strategies, execution status, quality metrics, defects, risks, and release-readiness findings to project managers and stakeholders • Provide technical guidance, testing standards, and QA best practices • Leverage AI-assisted development and testing capabilities to optimize scalable test automation frameworks • Design and execute automated testing for RESTful web services and APIs • Perform cross-browser, accessibility, database, backend, and integration testing • Develop and execute SQL queries to validate database transactions, application behavior, data accuracy, and end-to-end functionality • Collaborate with developers, engineers, security professionals, project managers, and government stakeholders to resolve defects and ensure requirements are met

🎯 Requirements

• Active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret clearance • Demonstrated understanding and proficiency in using AI platforms and AI-assisted tools for software design, development, testing, analysis, and quality assurance • Demonstrated experience designing, executing, and managing system testing and evaluation activities throughout the software development lifecycle • Experience developing and maintaining software requirements based on user requirements, system functionality, acceptance criteria, and existing software defects • Demonstrated proficiency with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools and processes • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills • Strong technical writing and editing skills • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment • Knowledge of DevSecOps principles, Agile software development methodologies, and the context engineering lifecycle • Experience working within integrated development, testing, security, and release-management environments • Knowledge of Git-based version control and software configuration management practices • Experience supporting RMF, ATO, ASR, and/or IV&V activities within Department of Defense or federal environments • Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and technologies such as Puppeteer, Selenium, Java, NUnit, JUnit, REST Assured, or equivalent tools • Experience testing RESTful APIs, databases, ETL processes, data warehouses, and cloud-based applications
