📋 Description

• Conduct comprehensive record reviews with employers, educational institutions, law agencies, courts, and other knowledgeable individuals • Use approved system accesses to obtain facts and resolve material issues in background investigation cases • Review records to help determine the background, reputation, character, suitability, or qualifications of subjects under investigation • Use technology, electronic tools, and multiple systems simultaneously • Conduct remote record requests and reviews using VTC, phone interviews, fax, and DoD Safe • Travel locally for possible in-person follow-up and obtain money orders for record-information requests • Potentially gain exposure to various investigation contracts

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Top Secret • Customer credential or the ability to obtain based on National Training Standard certification and experience recently conducting background investigations for this customer • Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years of general experience demonstrating progressive responsibility in problem solving, planning and organizing work, and communicating effectively orally and in writing • Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable determination based on a T5 Investigation • Strong sense of mission in supporting national security initiatives • Impeccable work ethic, integrity, and a positive, can-do attitude • Ability to navigate and utilize multiple technology systems simultaneously • Ability to use Microsoft Excel, Word, and Teams • Ability to functionally use the internet to research information • Current driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle, and willingness to travel locally dependent on assignment location • Home office equipped with reliable high-speed Internet and fax capabilities • Ability to sit, type, stand, or walk for extended periods of time • Excellent time management and prioritization skills • Exceptional written and oral communication skills • Ability to communicate complex or sensitive information effectively • Ability to listen attentively, respond appropriately to nonverbal cues, and make clear and convincing oral presentations • Ability to maintain strong relationships with diverse individuals and handle challenging situations with tact and professionalism • Correct English grammar, punctuation, and spelling; ability to communicate information succinctly and in an organized manner • Ability to properly account for a corporate credit card and complete required expense processes
