📋 Description

• Design, configure, and optimize SAP Data Services (BODS) ETL/ELT workflows, dataflows, and mappings across SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW, and non-SAP systems • Translate complex business requirements into accurate source-to-target mappings with robust transformation logic • Develop extraction routines using SAP HANA tables, extractors, RFCs, APIs, web services, flat files, and cloud platforms • Build data cleansing, standardization, validation, and business rule processing routines • Implement data profiling and assessment routines to uncover patterns, gaps, anomalies, and quality issues • Monitor, debug, and troubleshoot job executions to resolve performance challenges and eliminate bottlenecks • Architect and deliver high-quality, mission-focused data solutions powering critical DoD transportation operations • Collaborate with experts in Planning, Procurement, Fulfillment, Financials, Application Development, Security, GRC, and Identity & Access Management

🎯 Requirements

• Active DoD Secret Clearance (minimum requirement) • 3–5+ years of experience in Data Integration/Warehousing, including 3+ years dedicated to SAP Data Services development • Strong understanding of SAP table structures, data models, extractors, and end-to-end business processes • Expertise in advanced BODS transformations, high-performance ETL patterns, parallel processing, and optimization techniques • Proven experience integrating SAP BW/4HANA, SAP HANA, SAP MDG, and SAP Information Steward • SQL scripting • Shell scripting (Unix/Linux) • Familiarity with ABAP for automation • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a cross-functional team • Prior experience supporting USTRANSCOM programs or transportation operations • Demonstrated alignment with DoD transportation doctrine, including DTR and DoD FMR requirements • Experience applying Clean Core principles within SAP S/4HANA environments
