📋 Description

• Lead and mentor a team of Oracle DBAs • Provide technical guidance and escalation support • Design, maintain, and optimize Oracle databases in cloud and hybrid environments, including Azure • Lead database migrations, upgrades, performance tuning, and modernization initiatives • Oversee database monitoring, backup/recovery, patching, security, and disaster recovery activities • Ensure database availability, scalability, and compliance with federal security standards • Develop and maintain database administration procedures, automation, and operational best practices • Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and security teams to resolve complex technical issues • Leverage scripting, AI, and automation to improve database efficiency and operational performance

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field • 8+ years of Oracle DBA experience • 3+ years in a senior or technical lead role • Extensive experience managing large-scale Oracle databases in cloud or hybrid environments • Strong expertise in Oracle RAC, Data Guard, ASM, RMAN, and performance tuning • Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) or comparable monitoring tools • Proficiency in Shell, Python, or Ansible scripting and automation • Experience with Momentum and federal financial management systems • Knowledge of federal database security, compliance, and audit requirements • Strong technical leadership, troubleshooting, and communication skills
