📋 Description

• Handle provider inquiries through telephone, electronic, web, provider portal, plan-to-plan chat, and face-to-face channels • Present and discuss products and services accurately with internal and external providers • Resolve provider concerns through first-call resolution and support provider retention • Establish and maintain positive provider relationships on behalf of the company • Meet providers' needs completely and promptly, avoiding escalation when possible • Support sales representatives with onsite or community-based educational meetings when business needs permit • Meet quality, productivity, adherence, handle-time, and provider-relations goals • Complete initial, task-specific, ongoing, and refresher training • Learn new skills and adapt processes to improve work quality • Recognize, document, and alert supervisors to trends in provider calls • Conduct work consistently with organizational values

🎯 Requirements

• 1 year customer service experience • High School Diploma or GED • Ability to understand and interpret detailed policies and procedures and apply them to various situations • Thorough understanding of maintaining privacy of Protected Health Information as required by HIPAA • Ability to work independently, be flexible, and react appropriately to changing job assignments and work environments • Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills • Ability to respond to routine to complex customer inquiries involving sensitive subject matter • Ability to use telephone equipment systems such as Interactive Voice Response and Automated Call Distribution • Familiarity with a PC and Microsoft Office Suite • Provider interaction experience preferred, but not required • Spanish bilingual ability a plus
