📋 Description

• Provide project management of software migration projects for clients on the IBM Z platform • Consult with management and review project proposals to determine goals, time frame, funding limitations, procedures, and resource allocation • Analyze project management needs and provide project planning and execution, including development of project plans • Report project activities, scope changes, challenges, and requirements to the leadership team • Communicate with internal management and customers regarding status, milestones, and project risks • Review and analyze processes and procedures to identify opportunities for improvement and increased efficiency • Drive implementation of process improvements • Monitor, assess, and improve program best practices and quality processes for the client account • Travel to client sites across North America as required

🎯 Requirements

• At least five years of technical project management experience • PMP or PRINCE2 certification • Demonstrated knowledge of operations and project management skills • Demonstrated excellent written and communication skills • Experience managing cross-functional technical teams • Overall responsibility for managing scope, cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables, including planning, tracking, change control, and risk management • Strong negotiation skills • Ability to organize competing priorities and adapt to change • IBM Z Mainframe experience • Experience with IBM Z software products with ISV Product replacement with IBM products
