📋 Description

• Enable secure and scalable application onboarding to Secrets Management and PKI platforms in a hybrid-cloud environment • Engineer HashiCorp Vault-based solutions through hands-on development and technical troubleshooting • Support Vault operations and infrastructure • Guide application teams in integrating secrets, certificates, and authentication mechanisms across enterprise and cloud environments • Manage the technical lifecycle from intake and analysis through solution design, configuration, build, automation, and operational support • Analyze, design, code, test, and implement technical solutions • Provide production monitoring and support while meeting scope, schedules, budgets, and quality targets • Collaborate with IT, product, analytics, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions • Monitor production schedules, provide progress updates, and report issues to leadership • Document technical processes and procedures; participate in technical reviews and knowledge sharing • Collaborate with architecture on solution design and implementation • Mentor associate and intermediate technical engineers • Perform technical analysis and provide insights for departmental decision-making • Stay current with relevant technologies and industry best practices

🎯 Requirements

• 5 years of experience analyzing, designing, coding, testing, and implementing technical solutions, plus production support • 5 years of technical problem solving, solution implementation, and team/project collaboration • 5 years of basic computer science concepts, common operating systems, and development languages/scripting • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related field • Preferred: 2+ years of experience with HashiCorp Vault • Preferred: HashiCorp Vault Associate Certification • Preferred: Experience with Terraform, Ansible, and GitLab • Preferred: Experience with Google, Amazon, and Microsoft public cloud infrastructure • Preferred: Experience with Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift • Preferred: Familiarity with Agile workflows and VMware Cloud Foundation • Strong analytical, technical, documentation, and problem-solving abilities • Experience and willingness to mentor junior technical engineers • Preferred: Fluency in written and spoken English • Scripting experience with BASH, PowerShell, Ansible, and Python • Knowledge of Kubernetes, OpenShift, Terraform, Ansible Automation Platform, GitLab, operating systems, hypervisors, networking, authentication, PKI, Active Directory/LDAP, key/certificate management, and tokens • Ability to comply with HIPAA, data security guidelines, company policies, and applicable laws
