📋 Description

• Lead and direct one or more large-scale, complex programs involving internal and external constituents and matrixed partners • Serve as the single accountable party for strategizing, planning, orchestrating, and delivering programs or initiatives • Drive and support multiple workstreams to achieve program goals • Ensure results meet defined scope and quantifiable business benefits • Manage and consult with clients to meet contractual requirements • Oversee third-party vendors as needed • Brief key stakeholders, including external clients, on assigned initiatives • Facilitate client and stakeholder working sessions to plan initiatives, elicit requirements and business processes, and guide successful outcomes • Chair recurring program-team, client-team, and stakeholder meetings • Maintain communication across teams and stakeholder levels • Establish and maintain program documentation • Define and track milestones through an integrated program plan • Publish regular status reports • Ensure adherence to PMO Standard Operating Procedures • Align internal and external program resources • Manage scope, timelines, costs, and quality • Anticipate and manage risks and issues, escalating as needed • Establish and manage budgets, validate forecasts, and reconcile expenditures • Coach, mentor, and lead teams to improve efficiency and quality while reducing costs • Make day-to-day decisions aligned with corporate strategy and program objectives • Represent initiatives and/or the PMO in governance and inter-department forums • Recommend adjustments to improve project delivery and the PMO department • Manage and prioritize time to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment • Travel for project-related client meetings and training may be required • Perform other related duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of ten years’ experience in project/program management on software development and/or IT projects, or equivalent • Minimum of five years’ experience in an external client-facing role delivering complex software implementations, IT projects, or management consulting services • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or engineering • Preferred experience in the pharmaceutical, medical device, biotech or healthcare hub services industries • Management consulting experience preferred • PMP, CSM, PSM I/II certification(s) preferred • Proven ability to quickly earn the trust of sponsors and key stakeholders, including clients • Ability to motivate and mobilize teams • Ability to set direction and approach • Ability to resolve conflict • Ability to deliver tough messages with grace • Ability to build broad, collaborative networks • Ability to effectively manage interdependencies and complexities when implementing initiatives • Ability to navigate a matrixed organization effectively • Ability to coordinate and delegate effectively • Expertise with stakeholder management • Strength in applying tactics to facilitate sustained buy-in and engagement • Self-starter able to execute with limited information and ambiguity • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills • Comfortable escalating as needed to senior leadership • Solid influencing skills • Focused and versatile team player comfortable under pressure • Mastery of clear and precise verbal, written, and group communication at all levels • Strong presentation skills • Ability to remove barriers and enable teams to complete objectives • Exemplary knowledge and expertise in project management methodologies, tools, and processes, including SDLC and Agile Framework • Strong project management skills, including aspects of PMBOK • Sound healthcare and technical project delivery acumen • Must be flexible on schedule and hours • Must maintain regular and reliable attendance • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds • Extensive travel is required (60% travel)
