📋 Description

• Participate in face-to-face and remote selling to new and existing customers • Assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products, services and solutions • Support the state of Illinois and neighbouring territories • Travel to cover the assigned territory • Contribute to developing and delivering sales bids, presentations and proposals • Participate in product demonstrations • Identify and contact prospective customers • Build relationships to generate future sales and repeat business • Sell and stimulate demand for a series of products • Plan daily activities, including customer visits, grand opening events, joint opportunities, promotions and Groundswell strategies • Deliver on key sales opportunities in the geography • Follow market and competition evolution and pass information to senior staff • Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision • Escalate complex issues to appropriate staff • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience • Ability and willingness to travel up to 80% of the time, including occasional weekends and overnights • Driver’s license in good standing • Minimum of two years of related work experience • Knowledge or experience in the animal nutrition retail industry • Salesforce knowledge or experience • Equine, livestock, pet or poultry nutrition knowledge • Must reside in the state of Illinois
