• Serve as a medical advocate for Caribou, using disease-state knowledge and understanding of investigational cellular therapies during scientific exchange with healthcare providers • Identify, build, and maintain relationships with clinical investigators, key opinion leaders, and academic research personnel • Engage and educate pivotal trial sites at academic and community centers to support start-up activities • Prioritize solutions to challenging scenarios and develop mitigation strategies for healthcare-team needs • Support medical affairs projects including trial protocol development, publication support, and training • Escalate issues to senior leaders as needed • Provide clear, detailed, and regular communication to the headquarters medical team • Deliver complex medical and scientific information effectively to healthcare providers
• Advanced science degree required (PhD, PharmD, MD, RN, NP, PA or equivalent) • Senior MSL: 5+ years relevant pharma and/or clinical experience, including 2+ years as a field medical science liaison or equivalent • Field Medical Affairs Director: 10+ years relevant pharma and/or clinical experience, including 5+ years in a field medical science liaison role or equivalent • Prior cellular therapy experience in hematology/oncology • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal guidance and oversight • Ability to deliver scientific and clinical presentations to diverse audiences • Ability to independently manage projects and collaborate with cross-functional team members • Must be able and flexible to travel throughout the US and potentially ex-US for medical congress coverage, exhibit booth staffing, and clinical site visits; weekend travel may be required • Ability to work well under pressure given time constraints • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment • Ability to proactively identify issues and take a solutions-oriented approach • Legal authorization to work in the United States required
