📋 Description

• Provide technical direction and support to customers on operation and maintenance of company products • Serve as customer contact for technical and service-related problems • Demonstrate product uses and advantages • Collaborate with sales and marketing, QA/QC, and research and development to address customer concerns, determine corrective action, and follow up with customers • Install, check out, operate, maintain, repair, and upgrade equipment within service-management time requirements • Provide preventative maintenance according to published procedures • Maintain equipment performance and maintenance records • Guide and train customer personnel on operation, maintenance, inspection procedures, and techniques • Analyze equipment failures, determine causes, and recommend corrective action • Advise and assist with design changes to improve equipment efficiency or reduce operating costs • Participate in installation planning when needed • Maintain customer goodwill through timely and effective service communications and professional presentation • Manage company assets, including vehicle, computer, trunk stock parts inventory, test equipment, and tools • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environment, Energy, and Quality Management Systems • May be responsible for a designated region

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year working in a similar field-based repair position • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows operating system • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access • Valid driver’s license • Able to obtain credit approval for Corporate Credit card • Good verbal and written communication skills • Independent thinking • Detail oriented • Strong problem-solving skills • Able to lift 50 pounds; must be able to bend, push, and so forth • Manual dexterity • Willingness to work up to and over 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week, weekends, holidays, and after-hours • Occasional overnight travel • Must maintain all requirements for access to customer sites, including active and current compliance with all credentialing requirements, which may include COVID-19 and annual influenza vaccinations • Must be able to effectively speak, read, write, and understand English • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States • Must participate in reasonable work activities assigned by management
