📋 Description

• Oversee the Investor Reporting function for assigned investor groups • Assign workflow and staffing to meet monthly contractual requirements • Handle escalated Investor Accounting issues and ensure accounts are balanced and compliant • Work on moderate to complex reporting projects • Prepare and review financial papers, schedules, and loan-servicing reports • Review monthly reports and remittances and submit them to designated parties by required deadlines • Monitor assignments and investor/trustee deadlines • Resolve reporting issues with staff and enforce policies • Prepare complex reports and determine appropriate data presentation for compliance • Assist with hiring, training, work planning, performance monitoring, employee discipline, complaints, and problem resolution • Communicate regularly with investors regarding reporting and cash remittances • Set up systems for new investors or blocks based on pooling and servicing agreements • Balance interim cash, borrower suspense, and unapplied funds; verify funds before boarding • Support and lead special projects, conduct research, provide information, and identify solutions • Review and recommend policy and procedure changes • Train and mentor lower-level staff • Review pooling and servicing agreements and request new bank accounts for new deals • Develop processes and documentation for transition to analysts • Improve reporting and reconciliation methods with analysts • Participate in interviews and provide performance-review feedback • Perform other assigned duties and projects

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred • Five (5) plus years of related experience in investor accounting and reporting • One (1) or more years of Team Lead or supervisory experience
