📋 Description

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment at customer locations using tools, parts, and technical diagrams • Perform on-site preventive maintenance and inspection service work • Provide call-out services and commissioning activities on turbomachinery and package systems • Use test equipment to diagnose and identify malfunctions • Refer to schematics and manufacturers’ specifications to locate problems • Use hand tools, gauges, and instruments to analyze, repair, or replace faulty parts under supervision • Utilize digital tools and systems • Inspect for common causes of trouble, including dirty or defective components • Clean and lubricate equipment under guidance • Perform routine equipment installations and adjustments under supervision • Support the local customer base in Minnesota or Missouri

🎯 Requirements

• Degree or equivalent experience desired • Knowledge of customer service concepts and techniques • Ability to meet or exceed customer needs and expectations and provide excellent service • Initiative and ability to seek out work and accomplish goals • Knowledge of problem-solving approaches, tools, and techniques • Knowledge of machines used in power plants • Ability to conduct preventive maintenance and repairs or replacements on faulty mechanical parts used in power plants • Knowledge of mechanical equipment and preventive maintenance in oil and gas • Ability to repair or replace faulty mechanical parts used in exploration, production, or refining of hydrocarbons • Knowledge of safety procedures, practices, considerations, and regulatory requirements in oil and gas • Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) • Ability to design, implement, and operate automated process controls • Knowledge of troubleshooting approaches, tools, and techniques • Pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and physical fitness evaluation • Clean driving record: no moving violations within the last 12 months, no “2 point” violations within the last 3 years, and no DUIs within the last 7 years • Be able to obtain a legal Transportation Worker Identification Credential • Visa Sponsorship is not available for this position
